Julia Reinhart is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Valero, where she oversees human resources operations companywide along with communications, community investment, public affairs, branding, global security, facilities, and administrative services. In this role, she leads a multidisciplinary team supporting nearly 10,000 employees worldwide and helps shape a workplace culture grounded in safety, well-being, and long-term opportunity.

A dedicated mentor and people-centered leader, Reinhart champions workforce health and safety, comprehensive benefits and wellness programs, financial security, and talent development to sustain a dynamic global workforce in the energy industry. Under her leadership, Valero has expanded resources supporting women and families, including a childcare center, an employee and family health clinic, and a pharmacy at the company’s headquarters.

As one of two women on Valero’s executive management team, Reinhart actively advances policies and programs that support women in leadership and encourage employees to engage in community service. Deeply committed to her native San Antonio, she has devoted significant time to nonprofit board service and children’s advocacy. 

Reinhart’s leadership has been widely recognized with numerous honors from regional and national organizations. She holds a Juris Doctor from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics from the University of Rochester.
