Kim Jefferies is a mission-driven nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience transforming bold visions into measurable community impact.
Since becoming CEO of Haven for Hope in 2021, she has led the organization to national prominence—earning Nonprofit of the Year (2023), achieving Trauma-Informed Care certification, publishing its model in a professional journal, and delivering record client outcomes while securing major funding.
Her focus on culture also helped Haven for Hope earn Top Workplace honors in 2023 and 2024.
Previously, Kim spent 15 years at the Brighton Center, where her strategic leadership drove significant program growth and recognition.
She has served on numerous boards, including The Nonprofit Council, United Way, and Autism Lifeline Links.
Accolades include Top 40 Under 40, Woman of Impact, Top CEO in 2021, and 2024 Pillar for Citizenship.
Kim holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership, and an executive certificate from Harvard’s Kennedy School.
She’s also worked internationally, assessing education for children with disabilities in Malawi.
Outside of work, Kim and her husband, Cory, enjoy outdoor adventures with their two daughters.
