Rebecca Helterbrand has led organizations to achieve the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Award and had a successful career in the for-profit sector before transitioning to the nonprofit social sector.

As a Texas Hospital Association Fellow and graduate of a national executive development program for CEOs, she brings skills in budgeting, strategic planning, program design, outcomes reporting, performance excellence, and project management.

Her primary focus is supporting youth and families, particularly vulnerable populations, by fostering collaboration among diverse service systems.

Recognized with a Women’s Leadership Award in 2018, she is actively involved in philanthropy as a past president and current member of the Oakes Club and the Random Acts of Kindness group.

Rebecca, a proud first-generation college graduate and native Texan with historical ties to The Alamo, currently serves as President & CEO of Respite Care of San Antonio, a nonprofit focusing on children with special needs and complex medical conditions.
