La Juana is the Founder and CEO of Tacit Growth Strategies, specializing in government contracting, grant writing, and nonprofit business development.
Recognized for her pioneering work, she’s been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, Entrepreneur, and Forbes. La Juana was a San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2022.
She’s actively involved in various leadership roles, serving on Mayor Ron Nirenberg’s Small Business Economic Development Advocacy Committee, and as Board President of Close to Home.
She mentors business owners at the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center and Trinity University’s Venture Mentoring Service.
As a former President and Board Chairman of the Alamo Project Management Institute and the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum, and a Commercial REALTOR® with Phyllis Browning Company, she’s made significant contributions.
