Anne Parker Krause
Military
In 2014, Anne co-founded the Hemisfair Conservancy and serves as its President & Executive Director, leading philanthropic initiatives to transform the 1968 World’s Fair site into a vibrant urban parks district.
Anne earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, a Master of Arts from The University of Texas Austin, and completed a non-profit executive program at Harvard Business School.
During her nine years as an Air Force officer, Anne flew jets, supervised linguist operations in Cuba, and served as the Executive Officer for the USAF Thunderbirds demonstration team.
In the civilian sector, she applied her leadership skills as a philanthropy consultant.
Anne’s commitment to service is evident through her roles as President of SA100 and other board positions on The Nonprofit Council and the Harvard Business School Club of San Antonio.
She is also involved with the Southwest Research Institute’s Board of Advisory Trustees.
An international public speaker and member of Leadership Women Texas and the San Antonio Business Forum, Anne sponsors the Charity Ball Association.
She was recently honored as the San Antonio Business Journal’s Woman of the Year.
