Anita, a seasoned professional with over 20 years in public affairs, currently serves as the Director of Community Relations for University Health.
She implements strategic community relations programs to enhance the institution’s reputation, notably leading the drive-thru flu vaccination program, vaccinating over 12,000 individuals in four years.
Her career spans Toyota North America, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, and San Antonio’s Economic Development Department, where she managed media relations and developed public policy initiatives.
Active in her community, Anita serves on the San Antonio Sports Foundation and The National MS Society South Central Chapter, and is a Leadership San Antonio graduate.
She received awards like the Women Making a Mark award from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and mass media from Houston Christian University, Anita’s career and community involvement showcase her dedication to positive impact.
