Col. (Ret.) Wendy Martinson
Military
Wendy is originally from Red Wing, Minnesota.
She served for 30 years and retired from the United States Army in 2011. Since then, she has spent her time working with a variety of groups in the community.
She was on the Board of Directors for an organization that served wounded, ill and injured Service Members.
She mentored students at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) and is currently serving on the YWLA Advisory Board.
She participates in a Random Acts of Kindness group spreading kind actions throughout the community which includes a monthly discussion group on kindness at SA Haven for Hope.
In addition to serving as the SAWHOF Treasurer, Wendy is on the committee rejuvenating the SAWHOF Website.
Wendy is also a member of SA 100.
Wendy loves walking, gardening, reading, cooking and spending time with the love of her life, Frank and their feline fur baby, Inky.
