Volunteerism

Sara E. Dysart is a graduate of St. Mary’s University (BA and JD) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (MA). She is a solo practitioner, Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law, and a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Dysart is also a frequent author and presenter for State Bar of Texas continuing legal education programs.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Broadway Bank and the Board of Trustees of St. Mary’s University. Dysart is Chair of the Board of Directors of Incarnate Word High School and serves as Chair Elect of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate Probate & Trust Law Section. Her prior leadership roles include Chair of the Texas Bar Foundation Fellows, Director of the Texas Bar College, Chair of the State Bar Real Estate Forms Committee, Trustee of the Texas Bar Foundation, Director of the State Bar of Texas, President of the St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association, and Chair of the San Antonio Bar Foundation.

Dysart’s community service has been recognized with numerous honors, including St. Mary’s University’s President’s Award, the St. Mary’s Law Faculty St. Thomas More Award, the San Antonio Bar Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
